PRO TREK Climber Line “PRW-61”

Introducing the PRW-61 from the “Climber Line,” a line of authentic outdoor gear for nature lovers, featuring environmentally friendly eco-materials for its exterior.

While maintaining its comfortable fit and high visibility, this is the first Casio watch to utilize eco-friendly biomass plastic.

It is used for the case, urethane band, and resin case back.

Biomass plastic is a polymer material obtained by chemical or biological synthesis, containing substances derived from renewable organic resources as raw materials.
It is a material expected to reduce environmental impact towards the realization of a circular economy.

This time, biomass plastic made from castor oil is used for the case and case back, and biomass plastic made from corn is used for the band.

The soft urethane band features a target guide to improve the readability of the direction indicated by the second hand, expressing a functional and aesthetically pleasing design that makes it easier to understand directions.

Furthermore, the dial uses easy-to-read bar indexes with thicker hands to enhance visibility. The PRW-61Y features an IP-coated bezel.

It also boasts practical functions as a timepiece, including Multi-Band 6, which receives radio waves from 6 stations worldwide, and Tough Solar.

This model packs high functionality and practicality for various situations into a just-right size.
