From the G-SHOCK line of rugged watcheswhich has continued to evolve in pursuit of unrelenting durability since its launch in 1983comes a model featuring a design motif inspired by the popular works of Katsushika Hokusai, the ukiyo-e artist who flourished during the Edo period and is widely known both in Japan and abroad. The design draws from Yamashita no Hakku (White Rain at the Foot of the Mountain), one of Hokusais masterpieces from his Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji series.

The base model is the iconic classic digital DW-5600, featuring a bold Yamashita Hakku design on the dial. When the LED backlight illuminates, it blends seamlessly with the dial to convey the grandeur of the artwork. The word Japan is engraved in kanji on the case back.
Furthermore, in homage to ukiyo-e, which originated in Japan, we have taken special care to ensure the watch is Made in Japan.
To appeal to a global audience, we have also paid special attention to the packaging, creating a unique design.
